The International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG) is excited to welcome you to the 12th World Conference, which will be held in the historic city of Athens, Greece, from the 9th to the 11th of May 2024. This year’s conference theme, “Creating Change,” emphasizes not only the platform for groundbreaking research but also a focus on education and capacity building in the field of primary care respiratory health.
Following the resounding success of our post-pandemic meeting in Malaga in 2022, the international Scientific Programme Committee, comprised of seasoned primary care clinicians, has curated a diverse programme. Attendees will have the flexibility to choose from skills-based workshops, plenary sessions, oral abstract presentations, and engaging conversation cafés. Our carefully selected speakers will cover a broad spectrum of topics pertinent to countries across all income levels, offering an exciting blend of plenary discussions, debates, interactive sessions, and workshops.
This year’s meeting will not only serve as a unique opportunity for researchers to share their latest findings but also aims to provide valuable updates on key issues in primary care. Special emphasis will be placed on enhancing essential skills such as motivational communication, alongside a new focus on leadership capacity building. These sessions are designed to meet the core interests of the respiratory care community and address current challenges in primary care respiratory health.
